On this journey we will show you the Australia we all know and love, it's people, its colour, its culture...
...its contrast and its connection to the global landscape through an exploration of that which unites us, that which divides us and that which exposes us all to the human condition.
TURN SOUND ON
We are Nina DiGiglio, a nurse from the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia, who specialises in Parkinson's Disease management and treatment and Richard Miller, an accomplished photographer - both passionate humanitarians who have decided to embark on a mission to document the everyday lives of people from this planet we call Earth.
We are determined to encapsulate images and experiences of people; stories of the lives of those who call this wide, brown land of ours home.
In 310 days Nina and Richard will embark on a journey of a lifetime to the Middle East, to a refugee camp where Nina will use her expertise as a nurse as a bridge to those willing to document their experience, their stories of survival, of suffering, of losing everything, and of hope.
